Evangelism: Drs. Henry and Ann Jones began their ministry together in 1968 when they married. Their first revival in Jacksonville, FL on their honeymoon was the beginning of over six years of traveling in evangelism throughout the U.S.
Pastors: They then moved to West Point, MS and founded a church with 8 adults and 8 children. In a short time, the Jones' inspiring message helped to motivate this group to begin reaching out to the city. When the Jones family left West Point in 1979, they had built a new edifice on five acres of land in the heart of the city. They then moved to Jonesboro (Atlanta), GA with their children, Rob and Kimberly, in May 1979 with a vision of a multi-ethnic congregation doing the work of ministry. Rob and his wife, Melissa, stepped into the role of senior pastors of this congregation, Church of the Harvest International, in 1997 when the Joneses began ministering internationally. In 2004, Drs. Henry and Ann again began pastoring as they took over a congregation in Fayetteville, GA which had been pastored by a spiritual son.
Bridge Builders: Families of all nationalities began coming and responding to the love and graciousness of the church family. Today, the church has an international flavor with many nations and continents represented.
Educators: After completing their doctoral degrees, Dr. Henry Jones in Ministry and Dr. Ann Jones in Christian Education, the Joneses have used their education to teach in Harvest International Bible Institute locally and in international schools while mentoring ministry couples for the 21st century church.
International Speakers: From 1997 to 2007, the Joneses traveled throughout Southeast Asia and Europe and ministered in bible schools, businesses and churches.
Spiritual Fathers: The Joneses began mentoring and training pastors to do the work of ministry and offering spiritual oversight to church leaders. The IAM Harvest Network is founded on the principle that we all must be accountable to someone. The Joneses look to Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International as their spiritual father and covering.
Natural Parents: Henry and Ann are the parents of Rob, 40, and Kimberly, 37. Rob and his wife, Melissa, are the parents of three sons, Robey 14, Peyton, 11, and Cameron, 7, and are pastoring Church of the Harvest International in Jonesboro, GA. Kimberly, music pastor, and her two sons, Morgan, 16, and Lyncoln, 14, are a vital part of Church of the Harvest, Fayetteville, GA with her parents.
